With the help of Laura Reiss and mentor/professor Jessie Rebik a design emulating the overcoming obstacles theme is depicted. Researching and observing the community, the culture, notice how forthcoming people were to offer a helping hand. In a society where one is taught to push through all boundaries, even your fellow human, to succeed. Yet this is not possible because success is lonely, harsh and pointless if you are not helping others ascend the mountain with you.
OUR FUTURE
Mural on the YMCA of Superior Sacramento
In collaboration with Habitat For Humanity of Greater Sacramento and with my Americorps NCCC team, we painted this grand mural showing the State of California Insest, The Dogface Butterfly, and the quote, "Our Future Depends on You". These butterflies show the rebirth of nature this emphasizes the younger generation's duty to do and be better than the older generations' and try to fix the faults against nature.
